Quick review

The ROG Carnyx delivers studio-grade sound in a desktop-friendly package. Its large 1" capsule and high sample rate produce warm, detailed vocals that sit well in streams and recordings. The hardware noise-mitigation features—HPF, pop filter and metal shock mount—help reduce common desk-room noises. The Carnyx also offers useful on-device controls and real-time headphone monitoring.

• Pros: excellent vocal quality; tactile hardware controls (mute & knob); built-in monitoring; customizable Aura Sync RGB.
• Cons: heavier and larger than many USB mics (634 g); base/mount can be stiff to remove for some users; additional software (Armoury Crate) required for full RGB/EQ control.
