The ASUS USB-BT540 is an ultra-compact Bluetooth 5.4 USB adapter that instantly adds modern wireless capabilities to a PC or laptop. It supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for energy-efficient connections and can pair with up to 7 devices simultaneously — headphones, speakers, keyboards, mice and game controllers.
USB-BT540 delivers improved range and data rates over older Bluetooth versions, supports LE Audio (Auracast) and the LC3 codec where the OS and devices provide support. Its low-profile design barely protrudes from the USB-A port, making it ideal for portable setups.
Compatibility: Windows 10 / Windows 11 and Linux. For full Bluetooth 5.4 feature set (and optimal LE Audio support) ASUS recommends installing the latest drivers from the official support page.
