Review
The Barracuda Pro delivers a premium audio signature with strong bass and clear mids/highs thanks to the 50 mm TriForce bio‑cellulose drivers and the onboard THX AAA amplifier. Hybrid ANC is effective for urban and home environments, and SmartSwitch adds convenience for users who need to jump between a PC (low‑latency 2.4 GHz dongle) and a phone (Bluetooth 5.2). Battery life of up to ~40 hours makes it suitable for long sessions.
Pros:
- Detailed sound and punchy bass (TriForce drivers + THX AAA).
- Dual wireless modes (2.4 GHz USB‑C dongle + Bluetooth 5.2) with SmartSwitch.
- Effective hybrid ANC and reliable voice pick‑up from MEMS beamforming mics.
- Long battery life (~40 h).
Cons / Notes:
- There have been user reports about plastic parts cracking or structural durability on some units.
- Some users reported dongle/firmware related audio issues; check for firmware updates and Razer support if needed.
Overall, the Barracuda Pro is a strong all‑round choice for users wanting premium sound, ANC and flexible connectivity — just be mindful of potential long‑term durability reports and verify warranty/support options at purchase.
