Review summary: The Edifier D12 pairs tasteful, retro-inspired wooden styling with surprisingly full sound for a single tabletop unit. It’s well suited for listeners who want clear mids and pleasant highs without needing a separate subwoofer.
Pros
- Warm, well-balanced sound for everyday listening
- Versatile connectivity (Bluetooth, RCA, AUX)
- Quality wooden enclosure and compact footprint
Cons
- Not a replacement for a full system with a subwoofer if you need deep, room-shaking bass
- Some listeners report bass can become loose at maximum volume
