Quick review
For a budget desktop speaker, the Edifier R12U punch above their weight. They produce clean, pleasant sound with decent bass reinforcement courtesy of the bass-reflex port. They’re not loud enough for large rooms, but as a near-field desktop solution they offer great value — easy setup, useful headphone pass-through, and intuitive volume control.
- Pros: compact, easy to use, good clarity for the price.
- Cons: limited power (4 W total), not suited for large-room listening.
