Quick review: The FZ45 is a strong contender as an affordable starter camera. It’s compact, intuitive and delivers good everyday shots with helpful automatic modes (red-eye removal, skin softening, face detection). Low-light performance is limited by the small sensor and flash, but for travel and family snapshots the camera offers great value.
