Description
The Edifier R1280T (Brown) are active 2.0 bookshelf speakers with a classic wooden enclosure and retro styling. They deliver 42 W RMS total power (21 W + 21 W) using twin 4" woofers and 0.5" silk-dome tweeters for clear highs and warm mids/lows.
Dual RCA inputs let you connect two sources at once. Side-mounted tone controls plus the included remote make it easy to adjust volume, bass and treble. The wooden cabinet reduces resonance for a more natural sound.

Short review
The R1280T offers remarkable value: well-balanced sound, usable bass for a 4" driver, and crisp treble from the silk dome tweeter. Setup is straightforward and the included remote is handy. These speakers do not include Bluetooth, so wired connections (RCA/aux) are required.
- Pros: excellent value for money, attractive wooden design, easy tone control.
- Cons: no Bluetooth, limited deep bass in large rooms.
