The Edifier R1380DB (Brown) are active 2.0 bookshelf speakers delivering 42W RMS (21W + 21W) through a 4-driver design — 4" mid-bass drivers and 1" silk-dome tweeters — for balanced, detailed sound. The wooden enclosure reduces resonance for clearer audio. Connectivity includes Bluetooth V5.1 with Qualcomm aptX, plus Optical (TOSLINK), Coaxial and dual RCA inputs for TVs, turntables and other sources.

Review
For the price, the R1380DB offers impressive clarity and a musical, engaging presentation. Trebles are crisp, mids are well-defined, and bass is controlled for a compact bookshelf system. The Bluetooth implementation (aptX) is reliable for daily listening and the variety of wired inputs makes these speakers flexible for desktop or living-room setups.
- Pros: great value, multiple inputs, warm wooden cabinet.
- Cons: not a substitute for a dedicated subwoofer if you need deep, room-shaking bass.
